New Delhi: The trailer of Rajkummar Rao’s most awaited film Monica Oh My Darling has been dropped by the makers on October 31. The murder mystery drama features, Rajkummar Rao and Huma Qureshi in the lead role. The movie also stars Radhika Apte in a pivotal role.
‘Monica O My Darling’ is set to be a crime thriller with themes of betrayal and blood-lust pulsing through its veins. Audiences can expect a dark, action packed drama, with a pinch of humour.
Coming to the trailer, it looks interesting as Rajkummar Rao’s character struggles to plan a perfect murder of Huma Qureshi, who seems to blackmail him. The trailer definitely promises dark comedy. As Huma blackmails Rajkummar, it is Sikander Kher offers him the last resort: murder.
Radhika Apte enters the scene as a cop dealing with the murder case. There are several scenes where we get a decent delivery of comedy of humour. Overall, the trailer hints a change to the dearth of recent Bollywood comedies this year.

Directed by Vasan Bala, Monica Oh My Darling will be streaming on Netflix from November 11. Bala has also helmed the short Spotlight in the Ray anthology from Netflix.
With Rajkummar Rao being named the ‘Pathbreaking Actor of the Year’ by Inspiring Indian 2022 earlier this month, it is fair to say that the anticipation amongst critics and fans is justified as we wait at the edge of our seats for this film to drop.
