59th Baeksang Arts Awards: On April 28, 2023, Incheon Paradise City in South Korea hosted the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards. The who’s and who of the Korean entertainment business attended the awards night, which was a star-studded affair.
Shin Dong Yup, Bae Suzy, and Park Bo-gum hosted the awards ceremony. This year’s Baeksang nominations were met with a few snubs. However, given the shows that were made available, it was undoubtedly difficult to choose.

Among other things, Jinyoung, the first-time nominee, scored a major victory this year with Baeksang. In the categories they were nominated for, The Glory and Song Hye-kyo both took home significant awards. Extraordinary Attorney Woo, one of the top K-dramas of 2022, featured Park Eun-bin, who won the Daesang (the biggest award for the night).

About 59th Baeksang Arts Awards
The Baeksang Arts Awards honour the best in Korean film, television, and theatre, and the nominations are made through a screening process by 60 professional evaluators, judges from the business, and a panel of specialists from the fields of TV, film, and theatre. On April 7, 2023, the nominations for the year were revealed.
The 59th award ceremony’s nominations were open to all works published between April 1, 2022, and March 31, 2023, by the guidelines.
