New Delhi: Chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women Swati Maliwal has summoned the policy head of Twitter India. Swati Maliwal alleges that rape videos of girls and women are being sold on Twitter for Rs 20.

Swati Maliwal revealed this by posting tweets one after the other on Tuesday. On Monday, she said that child porn, rape and molestation are being openly promoted on Twitter. I will disclose about this on Tuesday at 12 noon.

On Tuesday, Swati Maliwal tweeted that thousands of people are sharing videos of rape of small girls. Videos of women taking a bath are being recorded with hidden cameras. She also said that this company (Twitter) abides by laws abroad and turns a blind eye to obscenity and rape of women in India.

In another tweet, Maliwal said that, “One of the largest social media platforms in the world, Twitter has become a medium to sell pornographic videos of children. Videos of raping young girls are flooded on Twitter. Porn videos of girls are being sold for ₹ 20- ₹ 30.”

In another tweet she wrote, “Even the talk of raping the mother is done in these tweets. Porn videos are posted. What is going on?”
