Nitish Kumar: Bihar Chief Minister and Janta Dal United(JDU) president Nitish kumar once again emphasised over opposition unity before 2024 general election. In an event attended by several opposition parties, including congress, He said, ” A United Front can restrict Bharatiya Janata party to less than 100 seats.

He urged the congress party to take a quick decision. He said that if they (congress)accept my suggestion and are ready to fight together, then BJP will not be able to get 100 seats, but if they do not think about this suggestion then we all know what will happen. Nitish said without naming congress directly.

Nitish Kumar was speaking at the 11th general convention of CPI-M in Patna, in his address, Bihar CM reiterated again that he doesn’t have any ambition to be Prime Minister.

He said, ” I have an ambition to unite the country and free it from people who spread hatred. I really don’t need anything”. Nithish Kuamr assured congress that The other parties would stand with them.

The Event was attended by Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister and senior RJD leader Tejaswi yadav, Congress leader Salman Khurshid, Jitanram Manjhi and many CPI-M leaders.

After, He broke alliance with BJP to form Government with RJD led alliance last year, exhorted the need of opposition unity several times. Nitish has been continuously emphasising to form a Nationwide United font to tackle BJP in Next Lok Sabha election.
