Dream Girl 2: Ananya Panday is currently on cloud 9. The actor is all set to make her Pan-India debut with the ‘cheese’ in the platter Vijay Deverakonda. Directed by Puri Jagannadh and bankrolled by Karan Johar, Liger is the story of an underdog, also featuring boxing legend Mike Tyson. Ananya plays a significant role in the film. While Ananya is currently anticipating the release of the film, the actor has already bagged another big project. This time it’s with Bollywood heartthrob Ayushmann Khurrana. According to a Pinkvilla report, Ananya will be seen opposite Ayushmann in Dream Girl sequel.
“The makers were in talks with Ananya Panday for Dream Girl 2. And as per our sources, makers of the film have zeroed down Ananya Panday opposite Ayushmann Khurrana,” the report quoted a source as saying.
Bigg Boss 15 winner Tejasswi Prakash was expected to maker her Bollywood debut with Dream Girl 2. But the fresh claims suggest that Ananya has been roped in for the sequel of Raaj Shandilya directorial.
Earlier this year, it was also reported that Sara Ali Khan may be replacing Nushrratt Bharuccha in Dream Girl 2, with talks apparently already having reached an advanced stage. However, the recent report has denied Sara’s involvement with the film.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann, who was recently seen in Anubhav Sinha’s Anek, has multiple projcts in his kitty. He will be seen in Doctor G, where he will play a doctor and will be seen alongside Shefali Shah and Rakul Preet Singh. He is also a part of An Action Hero, in which he will be sharing the screen with Jaideep Ahlawat.
