New Delhi: Ahead of K-Pop stars’ Busan concert, BTS’ Jimin & V aka Kim Taehyung receive death threats on social media. In a post on Weverse that went viral, photos of guns with life threats to the two BTS members were mentioned. The post gave an ultimatum that Jimin and V have time only till the Busan concert.

While, V was threatened to stay away from “Jikook’s Lives,” Jimin also received similar threats. Well, Jikook is a fan name used for Jimin and Jungkook.

Last month, BTS was officially appointed as an honorary public relations ambassador of the 2030 Busan World Expo.

Prime Minister Han Duk-soo extended his gratitude towards BTS for accepting the ambassadorship. “The most essential part to our success would be the support from Korean citizens as well as the global community. We believe that BTS will take the most pivotal role during the process. With the support from BTS and our people, we will be able to achieve our goal.”

It was announced that the South Korean musical group will lead a global concert to support their country’s bid to host the 2030 World Expo in the city of Busan in October.

Now as the threats came forth, ARMY is worried for their favourite K-pop stars. Fans have asked BTS’ management company, HYBE to tighten the security of their K-pop stars. ” “Please pray for “Vmin” They both received death threat on wevers from haters. Pleasee Hybe take action and protect all BTS members asap,” one of the many tweets reads.

In 2021, the then South Korean President Moon Jae-in had appointed BTS as the ‘Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture’ ahead of the 76th UN General Assembly.
