New Delhi: The controversial reality shows Bigg Boss 16 is all set to telecast this week on October 1, 2022, with its evergreen host Salman Khan. The contestant for this new season has been finalised.
Soundarya Sharma
As per the reports, TV star Soundarya Sharma will enter the show as one of the contestants. She is best known for playing the lead role in the romantic comedy film ‘Ranchi Diaries.’ She is also known for the web series ‘Raktanchal,’ and even became the headlines for auditioning for the DC Superhero film ‘Wonder Woman 1984’.

Gautam Vig
Actor Gautam Vig is also one of the contestants in the show. He started his career as a model and then turned into the world of showbiz. He has been known for popular TV shows such as ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2’, ‘Pinjara Khubsurti Ka’, ‘Tantra’, ‘Naamkarann’, ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ etc.

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia
The ‘Choti Sarrdarni’ fame and lawyer will also be a part of this season. The Bigg Boss makers introduced her through a promo, “Hindustan ki chhoti bahu hone ke saath saath, main ek lawyer bhi hoon. Iss combination ke saath main kaise haar sakti hu Bigg Boss?” She is also a runner-up of the 2018 Femina Miss India.

Sumbul Touqueer
The ‘Imllie’ fame will also be appearing on the show as a contestant. The makers also introduced her through a promo. The actress is also known for the Ayushmann Khuranna starrer film Article 15, Hindi serials Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein and Chandragupta Maurya.

First Contestant Introduced
Recently, Bollywood star Salman Khan attended the press conference for the new season. During the event, he confirmed the show’s first contestant i.e, 19-year-old Tajik singer Abdu Rozik. After the announcement, he appeared on the stage and said, “I love going to the Bigg Boss house….excited, bahut excited!”

Other Contestant
Other celebs include Surbhi Jyoti, Sajid Khan, Tina Datta, Sreejita De and Just Sul are also reportedly to appear in the show as contestants. Other rumoured names include Ankita Lokhande, Shiney Ahuja, Disha Parmar, Prachi Desai and Vivian Dsena.
