New Delhi: ICICI bank introduced a new facility of opening bank account in United Kingdom (UK) for those students who want to study in UK. Now, they can easily open their bank account in India before their visit to UK. ICICI-owned ICICI Bank UK PLC has offered Home Vintage Current Account to Indian students. Its main branch is in Vadodara, Gujarat.

It is specially developed to fulfil the banking requirement of every student in the United Kingdom, according to ICICI Bank UK PLC.

The account comes with a visa debit card that used worldwide.

According to the press release ICICI Bank UK PLC, “Now, students can open the account digitally and instantly while they are still in India. The account is equivalent to savings account in India. They can do so online or through ICICI Bank UK iMobile app, without visiting an ICICI Bank branch. Once the account is opened, they will activate internet banking, mobile banking and debit card. The physical debit card is delivered to their preferred address in India or UK.”
