New Delhi: Tata Motors launched its most popular SUV Nexon in the year 2017. Which is currently the best selling SUV of the country. This SUV is available in petrol, diesel and electric powertrain. It has received a 5 star safety rating from Global NCAP. The company is now going to update it soon. Looking at the new model recently spotted during testing, it is known that design elements inspired by the Tata Curve concept SUV will be seen in it. During testing, it will get to see alloy wheels of new design. The new alloy wheel design features a star-like pattern with aerodynamic inserts on each spoke. The same alloy wheel pattern is expected to be carried over to the production model as well. The same pattern could be carried over to the wheel caps for the lower-spec versions.
Design
Spy pictures reveal that the new Tata Nexon will get to see overall coupe-like styling. It will get new design front and rear profiles. Up front, it gets a twin-part grille with diamond cut inserts, a wide LED light bar connecting both the headlamps and a flatter nose, at the rear new tail-lamps with connected light bars, dynamic turn signals and a new rear bumper Can get it.
Interior
Along with the styling, the cabin of the new Nexon will also be similar to the curved SUV coupe. It will get a new dashboard and new central console layout with touch-sensitive haptic buttons, new two-spoke, flat-bottom steering wheel with toggle switches, new purple seats upholstery and new touch panel and toggle switches for HVAC controls.
Features
The new Tata Nexon will get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, connected car tech, a digital instrument console, drive mode selector, 360-degree camera, wireless charger and a host of other features.
Engine
The new Tata Nexon is likely to get the new 1.2L 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that was introduced at the 2023 Auto Expo. This engine generates 125PS power and 225Nm torque. Also, it will get the option of an existing 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine.
Will compete with Maruti Brezza
This car will compete with Maruti Suzuki’s Brezza SUV, which currently sells a lot. A 1.5L K15C petrol engine is available in this car. Along with this, many modern features are also available in it.
