New Delhi: Gurugram-based electric vehicle manufacturer Benling India has launched a long-range electric two-wheeler called Believe. The company claims it is a high-speed e-scooter designed for Indian roads and priced at Rs 97,520 (ex-showroom).
Currently, Benling has 350 contact points across the country, located in 22 states and 160 cities. The newly launched Believe will be available at all the company’s dealerships.
For its newly launched model, Benling India has also unveiled a new generation of electric batteries – LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate). The product will be available in all its showrooms from August 25, 2022.
The electric scooter comes in six attractive color variants – yellow, blue, black, white, purple and Magic Grey. The USP of the product is its Smart Breakdown Assist feature, which ensures that riders smoothly cover 25 km during a breakdown by simply holding a button.
The electric scooter is equipped with a replaceable battery, which is powered by a 3.2 kw waterproof BLDC motor. According to the company, it has a range of 120 km on a single charge, a top speed of 75 km/h and a total weight of 248 kg.
A micro-charger and auto-off feature are included with the LFP battery, allowing for a full charge in around four hours. The new “Believe” has a number of features such as keyless start, multi-speed modes, anti-theft alarm function, regenerative braking, mobile app connectivity, parking assistant function, mobile charging and real-time monitoring.
The e-scooter manufacturer claims that with a load capacity of 250 kg, it has the potential to offer best-in-class performance.

Braking power on the “Believe” e-scooter is provided by front and rear disc brakes, and the model is ARAI/ICAT certified. According to the company, a total of 3,000 units of the Believe are ready for launch in the Indian market in a few months, while another 9,000 units will be ready by November.
The company has already planned 1,20,000 deliveries in FY23. It currently manufactures 3 E2W models in both high-speed and low-speed segments.
