Rohit Only 2nd Player To Achieve Milestone
Rohit Sharma, the former captain of Mumbai Indians, will be back in action today after his spectacular century in the previous match against CSK. This match holds special significance for Rohit as it will be his 250th IPL appearance, making him the second player to achieve this milestone after MS Dhoni. Dhoni, who has played more than 250 IPL matches, previously held this record.
Rohit’s IPL journey has seen him score 6472 runs in 249 matches, with his highest score being an unbeaten 109 runs. He has continued his excellent form in IPL 2024, scoring 261 runs in 6 matches so far at a strike rate of 167.
Despite Rohit’s outstanding performance in the last match against CSK, the Mumbai Indians couldn’t secure a win, but Rohit’s batting prowess certainly impressed the fans.
