New Delhi: Cricket is a game that requires skills of batting, bowling and fielding. When all three goes perfect in a game for a side, they manage to secure win. In a European Cricket League fixture, Norway and Romania were fighting against each other and a funny incident amazed everyone.
Norway decided to put 9 players in the slip cordon, however, they still missed the ball and it went towards the boundary.
Why did Norway put 9 slips?
Batting first, Norway had put 97 runs in theri 10 overs at the loss of 8 wickets. This was too high of a score for Romania to chase down and they tried to play it funny as they put 9 slips on the field. However, the ball went past by the 9th fielder, leaving everyone in huge laughter.
Romania, later could only make 54 runs in the match and ended up losing the game.
Official Instagram account of Fox cricket wrote, “How many slips do you want mate? Just the NINE should do skip’ How good is @europeancricket.”
