Yoga Asana: New Year’s resolutions and promises are a component of the celebration. Anshuka Parwani, a yoga instructor for Bollywood stars like Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor, is renowned for regularly posting on her Instagram profile about fitness and health-related topics. Anshuka encouraged her Instagram followers to start the new year off strong by getting in shape.

In her recent Instagram post, Anshuka wrote, “Let’s start this new year right 2023. Here’s to healthier beginnings with a sustainable practice. Kickstart your Yoga journey with these 5 easy asanas now and here’s what each of them can do for you.”

5 Yoga Asanas to Kickstart the year 2023

Anshuka also showed five yoga poses for those who are eager to begin their yoga journey:

Mountain Pose – Start with 30 seconds and go up to 2 minutes

Tree Pose – Start with 30 seconds and go up to 2 minutes

Cat Cow Pose – Perform for 5 minutes

Garland Pose – Start with 30 seconds and go up to 2 minutes

Butterfly Pose – Start with 30 seconds and go up to 2 minutes

Anshuka also highlighted the advantages to health of each yoga asana. She claimed that Mountain Pose improves posture and increases circulation throughout the body. While Cat Cow Pose assists in stretching and strengthening the spine, Tree Pose strengthens the tendons and ligaments in the feet and enhances balance. Garland Pose also improves digestion and opens up the hips and groyne, according to Anshuka. She continued, “Butterfly posture is a great pose to stretch and strengthen the inner thighs, pelvic region, and knees.”
