Mumbai: A 31-year-old Mexican disc jockey (DJ) was allegedly raped, threatened, and blakmailed by her manager for around four years in Mumbai, said police, adding that the accused was threatening the survivor with termination from her job if she protested.
The accused was arrested on Friday following a complaint filed by the survivor at Bandra police station around a week back.
Police said, “Survivor stated in her complaint to police that she met the accused manager, 35, who also works as a DJ, in 2017. After three years, on July 2019, accused outraged her modesty at his home in Bandra.”
