In the last 24 hours, 1,542 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. While 8 people have lost their lives. Earlier on Monday, 2,060 new cases of corona infection were registered in the country. While 10 people died. There has been a decrease of 518 in the daily number of newly infected patients as compared to yesterday.

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health this morning, 1,542 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours while 8 people have died. During this, 1,919 people managed to beat the corona virus. With this, the number of active cases of corona in the country has come down to 26 thousand 449. In the last 24 hours, there has been a decrease in the number of active cases by 386.
With this, the total number of corona infected in the country has increased to 4 crore 46 lakh 32 thousand 430. While the number of people recovering has increased to 4 crore 40 lakh 77 thousand 68. At the same time, a total of 5 lakh 28 thousand 913 people have died due to corona virus infection so far in the country.

Recovery rate
According to the information given by the Ministry of Health, the number of people recovering from corona is increasing continuously. Now the recovery rate in the country has increased to 98.76 percent. At the same time, active cases comprise 0.06 percent of the total infection.
The government is emphasizing on vaccination to control the corona virus. So far, the number of vaccinations has reached 219 crore 37 lakh, 43 thousand. At the same time, in the last 24 hours, 4 lakh 23 thousand 87 people have been given the dose of corona vaccine.
