Earlier on Saturday, 20,408 new cases of coronavirus were registered in the country while 54 people died. The number of newly infected Covid-19 patients has decreased by 735 today as compared to yesterday.
According to the data released by the Ministry of Health this morning, 19,673 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours while 45 people have died. At the same time, 19,336 patients were cured. With this, the number of active cases of coronavirus in the country has increased to 1 lakh 43 thousand 676. In the last 24 hours, 292 active Covid-19 cases have increased.
With this, the total number of infected people in the country has gone up to 4,40,19,811. Of these, 5,26,357 patients have died. While the total number of cured patients has gone up to 4,33,49,778. The recovery rate of the country is 98.48 percent.
A total of 3,96,424 Covid-19 tests have been done across the country in the last 24 hours. So far, about 87.52 crore coronavirus tests have been done in the country.
