Agniveer Recruitment 2023: Indian Army has made a major change in the Agniveer recruitment process. Now there will be an online common entrance exam at the designated centres. This exam will be of 60 minutes. A merit list will be made of the candidates who pass it. After this, the applicants will be called for physical and medical tests. The first online exam will be conducted in April 2023.

Agniveer Recruitment 2023: Exam to be held in April under the changed system

According to Indian Army officials, the first online exam will be conducted in April 2023 at around 200 centres. All preparations have been finalized for this. The registration process will start around February 15, and one month will be given for this.

Recruitment will be done in three steps

1- Online Common Entrance Test

2- Physical Test

3- Medical Test

Lakhs of youth used to reach Agniveer recruitment rallies. With this new arrangement, the crowd of candidates will not be able to gather in one place.

Agniveer Recruitment 2023: The physical test used to happen

There were physical tests and medical tests under Agniveer recruitment. The candidates passing this were included in the written examination. So far 19 thousand Agniveers have joined. In the next few weeks, 21 thousand more Agniveers will join.

What is Agniveer Yojana?

Agniveer scheme is of the Indian Army. It started on 14 June 2022. Through this, soldiers will be recruited for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. Candidates will be recruited for 4 years. After this, the permanent recruitment of 25 per cent youth will be done, and 75 per cent will be sent home. The minimum age for application should be 17.5 years, and the maximum 23 years.
