New Delhi: A man has been killed by his family who suspected that he was having a relationship with his cousin. The incident was reported from Greater Noida.
Greater Noida Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Amit Kumar informed that a dead body was found on the side of the highway. An unconscious girl was also found beside him.
Suspecting the relationship between cousin brother and sister were trashed by the real brothers of sister. The brothers beat the man so much that he died while the sister was knocked unconscious on Sunday evening.
The girl is receiving treatment in a hospital. She is currently out of danger. The two brothers of the girl have been arrested by the police from Fatehpur.
Real reason yet to be ascertained
Investigating officials said that the real reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained. However, it is being told that the real brothers of the girl suspected the relationship between her and her cousin.
Police officials told that during patrolling on Sunday evening, a PRV of the local police saw the bodies of an injured girl and a youth. The girl was immediately sent to the hospital. She later informed the police that the deceased was his cousin and they were residents of Fatehpur district. They had come from home to visit Noida and Greater Noida.
Here is how he was killed
Amit Kumar told that according to the victim, her brothers stopped her at Pari Chowk in Greater Noida. They took both of them to an isolated place on the pretext of talking and started beating them. After that they left them there and went away. He said that the girl’s cousin died later, while the girl fell unconscious.
He further said that a case of murder and other sections has been registered in Beta-2 police station. The accused have been arrested by the Fatehpur Police from their village. The accused are being brought to Gautam Buddha Nagar and evidence is being collected for further action.
