New Delhi: A girl from Delhi was raped on the pretext of giving job in the Dholpur area of Rajasthan. The girl was looking for a job. She was already knew with the accused. Both of them came to know each other through social media.
The accused called her to a hotel on pretext of providing her a job in Dholpur. The victim told that accused is a resident of Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh.
Became friends through Instagram
As per the information, a 25-year-old girl from Delhi became friends with a man named Arjun. They contacted each other through the social media application Instagram. During their conversation the victim told him that she was looking for a job. Arjun told her that he will help her in getting it. He then asked her to come to Dholpur for the same. The girl reached Dholpur on behest of Arjun on Sunday.
Arjun took her to the hotel
On reaching Dholpur, Arjun took the girl to a hotel. There he called two of his friends named Arvind and Devendra. The three men then gang-raped the victim. The men then threatened the victim to kill her and left her in the hotel itself.
The girl filed a complaint
The victim gathered some courage. She went to the Mahila Police Station in Dholpur and filed a complaint of gangrape against the three men.
On this matter, Dholpur Mahila Police Station SHO Manju Faujdar has said that the victim is a resident of Delhi. She became friends with Arjun of Gwalior through social media application Instagram. Arjun along with his friends gangraped the victim.
Case of gangrape registered
On the complaint of the victim, a case was registered against the three accused for gangrape and other sections. Medical of the victim has also been done.
The SHO said that Gwalior Police has also been contacted to nab the accused. The details of the conversation between the victim and the accused are also being extracted.
