New Delhi: Following the murder of Ankita Bhandari in Rishikesh, havoc have been reeking in the entire state of Uttarakhand. The 19-year-old who was working at the reception of the Vanantara resort here, went missing under suspicious circumstances.
Uttarakhand Police recovered by Ankita’s body on Friday. They have arrested three accused in the case. Hundreds of women including Ankita’s family members reached the police station. They stopped the police vehicle carrying the three accused.
Three accused including resort owner arrested
Following the recovery of Ankita’s body, the police have arrested three accused in the matter. Three accused arrested in this matter are Pulkit Arya who is the owner of the resort and son of a BJP leader, Saurabh Bhaskar who is the manager of the resort and Pulkit Gupta who is an employee of the resort.

Mob vandalized the resort
Earlier, people believed that this was a case of missing or maybe kidnapping. But investigation of the police have revealed that some illegal work probably flesh trade was being done in the resort. Ankita was being pressurized to do the same. Hundreds of people who were angry with these revelations reached the resort and vandalized the property. The mirrors in the resort were broken by the angry mob.

What is the whole matter of Ankita Bhandari
As per information given by the Uttarakhand Police, the entire matter is of Vanantara resort located in Rishikesh. The property is owned by Pulkit Arya who is the son of a BJP leader. 19-year-old Ankita Bhandari, a resident of Srikot village located in Pauri Garhwal, used to work in the resort. It is alleged that Ankita had gone missing under suspicious circumstances three days ago. The family members of Ankita has filed a missing complaint in this regard at Udaipur Talla police post.
Ankita was being pressurized
Investigation has revealed that the three accused took Ankita with them on the pretext of roaming around. The three accused had a dispute with Ankita about doing some dirty work. During the dispute Ankita fell into the canal. A CCTV footage also reveals that Ankita went with resort owner Pulkit Arya, manager Saurabh Bhaskar and employee Pulkit Gupta.
