Gold Price Today, 23 March 2023: Gold on Thursday registered a rise of Rs 555 per 10 gm and reached to the rate of Rs 59192 per 10 grams. While Silver on Thursday also witnessed a jump of Rs 1,147 and touched the rate of Rs 68221 per kg. There is huge increase in the price of gold and silver has been seen for the last few days. As a consequence, the precious metals are going out of reach of common people. It is creating a heavy burden on the pocket of commoners. Gold and silver on IBJA
As per the Indian Bullion Jewellers association (IBJA), Gold has become costlier by Rs 555 per ten grams and is trading at the level of Rs 59192 per ten grams. Whereas on the previous trading day, on Wednesday, gold fell at the rate of Rs 551 per 10 grams and closed at the level of Rs 58637 per kg.
Along with gold, a rise in the price of silver is also witnessed on Thursday. Today silver is trading at a level of Rs 69368 per kg with a jump of Rs 1,147. Whereas on the last trading day on Wednesday, silver fell by Rs 278 and closed at Rs 68221 per kg.
Gold and silver rates on MCX
Like the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), gold is trading at a brisk pace on the Commodity Exchange (MCX). On MCX, gold is costlier by Rs 481 at the level of Rs 59,237, while silver is trading at Rs 69,897 with a gain of Rs 588.
Gold slips by Rs 200, Silver by Rs 10,600 from all-time high
After this boom, gold is currently selling cheaper by Rs 287 per 10 grams than its all-time high. Earlier, gold made its all-time high yesterday i.e. March 20, 2023. At that time gold had gone up to the level of Rs 59479 per ten grams. On the other hand, silver is getting cheaper than its highest level at the rate of Rs 10612 per kg. The all-time high level of silver is Rs 79980 per kg.

In this way, on Thursday, 24 carat gold became costlier by Rs 59192 per 10 grams, 23 carat gold by Rs 58955 per 10 grams, 22 carat gold by Rs 54219 per 10 grams, 18 carat gold by Rs 44394 per 10 grams and 14 carat gold by approx. Is trading at the level of Rs 34627 per 10 grams.

Like the Indian bullion market, gold and silver are trading fast today in the international market as well. In the US market, gold was trading down by $10.16 at $1,979.93 an ounce and silver was down by $0.02 at $23.00 an ounce.
