7th Pay commission: The central government is showring its kindness on government staffers during festival season. On Diwali the Government has given another big gift to its employees after increasing the Dearness Allowance by 4 percent. The Government has decided to raise the Travel Allowance i.e TA of the central employees. With this announcement, Central government employees are looking very cheerful.

Rise in travel of government employees

The travel allowance has been raised by the government in two different ways. On the one hand, employees have been informed that they are entitled to travel on the Rajdhani, Duronto Express, and trains like the Tejas, even though the government has doubled the overall travel allowance. In other words, their trip grade has improved. That is, after raising the dearness allowance, the government gave the central employees a double bonus before Diwali.

Increase in travel allowance

Government staffs receive travel expenses as part of their remuneration. The government updates the dearness allowance in addition to raising it. There has also been an increase in TA as a result of the rise in DA from 34 to 38 per cent. Three categories are used to categorise TA.

DA & TA

In the first category, it is Rs 1350 for level 1-2 cities, Rs 3600 for employees of level 3-8 and Rs 7200 for level 9 above. Employees of any one category get traveling allowance at the same rate and dearness allowance is added to it.
