Upcoming Royal Enfield Bikes in India: Royal Enfield rolled out several new motorcycles last year and also delighted its fans by launching the Shotgun 650 in India on January 14, 2024, priced between Rs 3.59 lakh to Rs 3.73 lakh (ex-showroom). The Chennai-based Royal Enfield motorcycle manufacturer is set to roar further as it plans to expand its portfolio in the Indian market with more offerings across various categories. After Shotgun 650, the company is expected to introduce three more models in the country. Let’s have a look at the upcoming Royal Enfield bikes in India in 2024.

Scrambler 650

The upcoming Scrambler 650 was spotted testing on roads in India and abroad on various occasions. Although Royal Enfield has not revealed exact details, the Scram 650 and Interceptor 650 are expected to share a similar architecture, with minor exceptions. It is expected that this machine will feature block tyres and spoked wheels, as per the spy images captured previously.

In contrast to the Interceptor’s telescopic forks, the Scrambler 650 gets inverted forks at the front.. At the rear, a two-spring suspension is retained. It seems that this motorcycle will stand out from other 650cc models due to its two-into-one exhaust system.

The expected feature list with the Scrambler 650 also includes full LED lighting, a taller handlebar, a single-pod console, a ribbed seat, and an offset oval-shaped side panel. The same 648cc parallel-twin engine shared with the Super Meteor 650 and the Continental GT 650 will likely power the Scrambler 650.

Classic Bobber 350

One of the most anticipated motorcycles of 2024, the Classic Bobber 350 will compete against the likes of Jawa 42 Bobber and the Jawa Perak. The motorcycle is expected to borrow design cues from the Royal Enfield Classic 350. Based on the company’s new J-Series platform, also used by the Classic 350, Meteor 350, and Hunter 350, the Classic Bobber 350 will be a single-seat bike.

Furthermore, the motorcycle might feature tripper navigation or a twin-pod instrument console, which could be offered as standard. It could also have a USB charging port and a semi-digital console.

The upcoming Royal Enfield motorcycle will be powered by a 349cc single-cylinder air- and oil-cooled SOHC engine. The bike could get dual-channel ABS as standard for safety. While the price of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 ranges between Rs 1.93 lakh and Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom), the Bobber 350 could be slightly costlier.

Hunter 450

With an estimated price of Rs 2.4 lakh (ex-showroom), the Royal Enfield Hunter 450 is one of the most anticipated motorcycles for 2024. It will be powered by the 452cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC four-valve engine, also found on the Himalayan. The powerhouse, which is the most powerful single-cylinder engine, belts out a maximum power of 40bhp and a peak torque of 40Nm.

The design and key features of the motorcycle will likely be similar to that of the Hunter 350, barring an upgraded engine. It’s important to note that these are just expected information and official details will be out once the motorcycles are launched in the market.
