New Delhi: Toyota launched its Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider mild-hybrid petrol engine car in September. But according to the information, now the company has decided to recall the cars of this model due to some defect and the company is recalling 994 units of it. The reason for the recall of these cars has been attributed to some defects in the seat belts of the cars.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder recall
According to the information, the company is suspected of a defect in the child parts of the front seat belt shoulder height adjuster of its recently launched Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder car. If this happens then there may be chances of disassembling the seat belt of the car. Therefore, the company has decided to recall the cars manufactured between November 9 and November 26. Although the company has not received any complaint so far. Nevertheless, the company will soon contact those car owners to find out whether anyone has faced any such problem or if any such problem is found, the company will replace that part.

Hyryder engine
Toyota offers a 1.5-L engine in this car, which has been introduced with e-drive transmission. The engine of this car gives an output of 68 kW, which is capable of producing peak torque of 122 Newton meters. Also, the motor fitted in it is capable of producing 59 kW power output and 141 Newton meters of torque and together both the motors are capable of producing 85 kW output.
Car recall
Car recall is a common process. When a vehicle manufacturer company suspects a fault in a particular part of any of its vehicles or the same thing is getting complaints again and again, then the company recalls its vehicle. Along with this, the company does not take any charge from its customer for removing the defects found in the recalled vehicle.
