The video shows a curious dog exploring the robotic dog with interest, despite some initial hesitation. The real dog attempts playful interaction with the robot, which reciprocates its movements. Meanwhile, other dogs in the vicinity observe the situation, trying to comprehend the presence of this new “dog” in their surroundings.
The robotic dog featured in the video is attributed to Muks Robotics, as indicated by the text accompanying the video. Dr. Mukesh Bangar, the Founder and CEO of Muks Robotics, shared the video on Instagram with the caption, ”Funny incident happens with robot dog vs real dog.”

The footage was captured during IIT Kanpur’s renowned four-day tech fest, ‘Techkriti’, marking its 30th edition this year. Held from March 14 to March 17, the festival embraced the theme ‘The Cosmic Nexus’, as stated in a press release. Techkriti boasted a plethora of competitive events spanning diverse domains such as Robogames, Take Off, Software Corner, Mandakini, Model United Nations, Fintech, ECDC, Design, and Technovation.
The video garnered a flurry of reactions from internet users, sparking an array of comments. While many were enthralled by the captivating fusion of technology and reality showcased in the video, others commended India’s strides in the field of robotics. One user humorously remarked, “He’ll go back and tell his friends but they won’t believe his story!” Another stated, “Science meets reality.”
