New Delhi: Jess Jonassen gave Delhi Capitals some relaxation as she removed Hayley Matthews for 13. Matthews played a shot on Jonassen’s delivery but Arundhati Reddy took a low-catch at the mid-on as Delhi Capitals got a major breakthrough in the game.

Radha Yadav removes Bhatia

Earlier, Radha Yadav removed Yastika Bhatia as Mumbai Indians lost one wicket in chase of 132 against Delhi Capitals. After got smashed for a boundary from Yastika Bhatia, Radha Yadav redeemed herself and bagged the wicket of Yastika Bhatia for four. Yastika went for a big shot but Alice Capsey took a brilliant catch at the deep mid-wicket as Delhi Capitals got their first breakthrough.

Delhi’s batting 

Earlier in the game, late batting prowess from Radha Yadav and Shikha Pandey guided Delhi Capitals to 131/9 in 20 overs against Mumbai Indians in the final of the Women’s Premier League at Brabourne Stadium on Sunday.

Wong, Matthews strike three wicket each

Opted to bat first, Delhi Capitals lost wickets in a quick succession after Issy Wong scalped three early wickets. It was followed by Hayley Matthews taking three more wickets. Later, Amelie Kerr also took two wickets but Radha and Shikha remained unbeaten at 27 each and took their side to a respectable total. Apart from them, skipper Meg Lanning also smashed 35 off 29 balls.
