Talking about mental health is very important today, especially in India, where mental health awareness is deficient and the stigma associated with it is very high. Due to misconceptions about mental health, many people live in isolation without receiving proper care. World Health Organization (WHO) defines the concept of health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. it particularly defines mental health as a state of well-being in which every individual realizes their potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and contribute to their community. Mental health awareness is very important to encourage people to seek treatment by working on the stigma against mental illness. Mental health problem is not limited to any one class or age. Due to the stressful life in big cities, more mental issues are arising in people.

Rushad Rana, a popular Indian actor and influencer talks about mental health and its importance.
