Bengaluru: Parents Ride Scooter With Child Standing On Pillion Footrest, Video Surfaces
A shocking video of a couple is doing rounds on social media showing a young child standing on the pillion footrest of a scooter while the parents rode through heavy traffic in Whitefield, Bengaluru.

Notably, neither the child nor the adult passenger wore helmets, posing a safety risk. Indian law requires all riders and pillion riders over the age of four to wear helmets with securely fastened straps, and failure to comply can result in penalties from traffic authorities.
Reaction on the post
The video went viral soon after it got posted on the social media attracting huge criticism from the users. Comments on the post expressed shock at the parents' behavior, with one user stressing the high risk involved and another suggesting that the owner's scooter license should be revoked, along with the imposition of hefty fines and confiscation of the scooter by the Regional Transport Office (RTO).
A different user condemned the desire for social media fame over child safety, while another described the incident as "utterly disgusting" and called for punishment of the parents. Observers noted the prevalence of similar incidents involving young children on scooters and bikes and urged law enforcement to take strict action against negligent parents.

Meanwhile, a video also went viral on microblogging platform X depicting a man engaged in a brawl with three others. It is being said that an argument broke out over throwing garbage in front of this man’s home in Bengaluru.
In the video, the shirtless man goes rouge and starts beating people. While several people trying to stop the fight, the man again bumps into them to vent out his anger on them.
Posting the video on X, a user namely Ghar Ke Kalesh, wrote that the man in Bengaluru gone rouge over the throwing garbage in front of his house.
