Weather Forecast: Delhi NCR To Witness Light Rain Today, Predicts IMD

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday predicted that some of the isolated parts national capital will witness light rain along with the heavy winds at a speed of 25/30 km/hr following the western disturbance.

Weather Forecast: Some isolated parts of the national capital will witness light to moderate rain on Wednesday along with strong winds of 25-35 km/hour due to the western disturbance, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

However, ahead of the chilly start of this month – March, the capital city is all set to witness a gradual increase in temperature by 2-3 degrees Celsius this week due to the western disturbance which will surround the region on Wednesday, said weather department.

“The minimum temperature in Delhi will likely surge in the next 48 hours as it will go upto 12 degree Celsius on Monday and Tuesday. Additionally, it will plunge to 13 degree Celsius on Wednesday,” Weathermen predicted.

Informing about the weather conditions on Wednesday, Kuldeep Srivastava, scientist at IMD said that the capital city is expected to receive light rain and drizzle in some isolated parts. “The weather disturbance will impact the Delhi NCR. Gusty winds will also grip the National Capita Region (NCR)”, he stated.

He predicted that some cloudiness will also hover over the city due to the above reason which will lead to further increase in the minimum temperature.
