Firozabad: A village in Uttar Pradesh’s Firozabad celebrated the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on Moon due to their son being one of the key Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientists involved in the project.
Dharmendra Pratap Yadav is the scientist who belong to Firozabad’s Tikri village that reposed in pride and joy on August 23 after Chandrayaan-3 successfully landed on Moon’s surface.
Dharmendra played role in Mangalyaan
Not just that but Dharmendra, who is a son of a proud farmer in Uttar Pradesh had played a key role with his contribution to the Mangalyaan design in the past. As part of the Chandrayaan-3 platoon, he shouldered the significant responsibility of transmitting signals for the lunar bid.
Thereafter, on August 23, as Chandrayaan-3 found its place on the moon’s surface, the patience and hard work of Dharmendra and his platoon will come to an achievement.
The journey of Dharmendra has been one of the academic excellence. At the Intermediate position in Firozabad, he pursued engineering studies at Mathura Hindustan College and latterly completed his MTech from Jalandhar Punjab.
He was posted in ISRO on August 5, 2011, after that he also worked in the Mangalyaan platoon. Dharmendra’s family stood as a testament to his success.

His parents, Shambhu Dayal Yadav and Kamla Devi, along with an uncle and other cousins, live in Tikri village. His younger brother, Upendra Yadav, is pursuing BTech, while Dharmendra himself is a wedded man, living with his wife and child.
Shambhu Dayal Yadav said that his son has brought laurels to the entire India as well as the name of Firozabad quarter and his village Tikri.

Chandrayaan- 3 stands as ISRO’s third lunar mission, conceived in the wake of the Chandrayaan- 2 setback.
The new lunar mission of the 2019 Chandrayaan- 2 landed in trouble and failed terribly but ISRO got up on its foot again and designed the magnificient Chandrayaan-3 that made its soft landing on south pole of the Moon suface, making India the first one to do that.
