New Delhi: Trinamool Congress leaders will stage a protest at premise of the Parliament in Delhi on Wednesday to concide with that of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata against the Centre.

The CM will demonstrate a sit-in protest for two days in front of BR Ambedkar statue at Esplanade in Kolkata agianst the Centre for halting the release of funds to the state.

The West Bengal government has rasied the issue several times in the past alleging that the Centre did not distributed funds to the state ‘desperately’.

As per the media reports, Abhishek Banerjee’s rally will target the Centre over the alleged misuse of central investigation agencies. In the latest, the Calcutta High Court has given “conditional” nod to the rally to be headed by Abhishek Banerjee.

The court has asked the police to install CCTV cameras in the area to monitor the movements and said that the police will be reponsible if any untoward incident takes place.
