A similar case of murder like Meerut was reported in Rajasthan’s Jaipur, in which a woman allegedly killed her husband with the help of her male friend and transported his body on a bike. The video of the incident was also widely circulated on social media platforms, which shows that a woman was carrying the body after packing it in a sack. Police said suspect Gopali Devi and her lover Deendayal Kushwaha killed Dhanna Lal Saini.
According to reports, the woman was in a relationship with Kushwaha, who runs a shop in the area. As Saini had suspicion over his friend, he went to Kushwaha’s shop to discuss their friendship on March 15, but he was shocked to find that his wife was already there.

After a heated argument, Saini was called to the terrace of the shop, and Kushwaha killed him by hitting an iron rod. Later, they packed her body in a sack.
Police said to destroy the evidence; they transported the body on a two-wheeler and threw it in a forest area. They torched Saini’s body and fled the spot.
When police came to know about the half-burnt body on March 16, the investigation proceeded; they arrested the woman and his lover. The incident is a reminder of the Meerut case in which a woman also killed her husband, who was posted at the merchant navy, with the help of a lover.
