The cab driver who had traveled with Muskan Rastogi and her partner Sahil Shukla to Himachal Pradesh following Saurabh Rajput’s murder in Meerut has spoken out. The driver, Ajab Singh, reported that the couple exhibited no signs of committing murder when he drove them. India Today quoted him describing the Shimla-Manali journey as silent between the pair because Muskan received only two calls from her mother.
The police arrested both Sahil and Muskan while revealing that Sahil consumed two bottles of alcohol daily but Muskan drank three cans of beer. Both of them celebrated Holi with enthusiasm. Citizens viewed a viral video online that showed the couple spending time together at the festival.
A video is shared by an X user. The user wrote that, “You can’t analyse any girl. A girl can murder her childhood lover turned husband and still smile and enjoy life with a new man. Muskan-Sahil case should be included in the school syllabus to make men aware of the realities of the world around them.”

Before the murder of Saurabh on March 4 Muskan and Sahil reserved a Swift Dzire for a 15-day excursion to Shimla and Manali and wired Rs 54,000 to the car rental service, as per media reports. Singh revealed that Muskan asked him through a WhatsApp audio recording to purchase a birthday cake while they stayed in Shimla. She requested him to use text messages over phone calls for communication. According to the driver, he knew nothing about their suspected wrongdoing, as per media reports.
