Covid-19 Update: India on Friday reported 11,109 new cases in last 24 hours with the active caseload over 49,000. It is the highest in nearly eight months, according to union health ministry data. According to data available on website of health ministry, the number of total active cases have increased to 4 49,622 on Friday.
The daily positivity rate was registered at 5.01 per cent whereas the weekly positivity rate was recorded at 4.29 per cent. The active case load of total infection was recorded at .11 per cent on Friday.
11,109 new cases in 24 hours
For the last few days, the country is once again witnessing a spurt in the cases of Corona Update. As compared to yesterday, a big jump has been recorded in the daily cases of corona in the country today. Today 11109 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. During this, 29 deaths have been reported due to corona infection. Earlier on Thursday, 10,158 new cases of corona were reported in the country while 19 people died. In this way, a big jump of 951 has been registered in the new daily case in the last 24 hours.

Covid scare again
According to the data released by the Ministry of Health this morning (14 April 2023), 11109 new cases of corona infection were reported in the country in the last 24 hours. During this, 29 deaths have been reported due to Corona Update. The deaths include three each in Delhi-Rajasthan, two each in Punjab and Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Peducherry, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, while nine people from Kerala. At the same time, 6459 people were successful in defeating the corona virus infection, that is, they became healthy. With this, the number of active cases of corona in the country has jumped to close to 50 thousand. At present, the number of corona active cases in the country has reached 49,622. In this way, a rise of 4624 has been recorded in the number of active cases in the last 24 hours.

With this, the total number of corona infected in the country has increased to 4 crore 47 lakh 97 thousand 269. While the number of people getting cured has increased to 4 crore 42 lakh 16 thousand 586. At the same time, a total of 5 lakh 31 thousand 064 people have died due to corona virus infection in the country.
