Yashoda Box Office Day 2: Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer shines with flying colours

Yashoda Box Office: Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s thriller Yashoda released on November 11 with a decent footfall. The movie faced a clash with Amitabh Bachchan’s Uunchai. With  good numbers at the box offce on day 1, Yashoda on its second day showed a potential growth.

On Day 2, the Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer has earned Rs 4 crores as per preliminary figures. On its opening day, the film had raked in over Rs 3 Cr. The total collection of the film after two days has now reached 7.06 crores.

According to film trade expert Ramesh Bala, the film has earned around Rs 55 crore during pre-release.

Box Office Collection 

Yashoda’s Day 1 early estimation has finally been released. Samantha plays the lead role in the movie. According to tweets from trade expert Ramesh Bala, the movie did equally well on Day 1 in Tamil and Telugu states, as well as in the USA and Malaysia. His tweet can be read, “@Samanthaprabhu2 is one rare actress who is considered as “one of their own” equally both in Tamil and Telugu.. No wonder, #Yashoda has opened well in Tamil Nadu and Telugu states as well both in USA and Malaysia (sic).”

Yet another tweet says, “Not only in the west #USA , @Samanthaprabhu2 ‘s #Yashoda is ruling the east too.. At #Malaysia ‘s GSC Multiplex, both #Yashoda Tamil and Telugu debut in Top 10 (sic).”

About Yashoda

Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi are the five Indian languages in which Yashoda has been released. Despite Samantha’s lack of a Bollywood debut, Yashoda has been dubbed and distributed in Hindi in addition to other languages. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Unni Mukundan co-star with Samantha in the movie.

Mani Sharma wrote the soundtrack for Yashoda, and the film’s producers also employed Marthand K Venkatesh as the editor and M Sukumar as the cinematographer. Yashoda, a 2022 film directed by Hari and Harish, will be released on November 11 under the Sridevi Movies banner and produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad.
