Thunivu box office collection Day 6: The box office for Ajith Kumar’s movie Thunivu is booming because of its amazing performance in theatres. The robbery thriller reportedly earned more than Rs 150 crore globally (gross) in just five days, according to trade reports. At the box office, Thunivu and Varisu are competing head-to-head. In the end, theatre owners are content since both movies are doing remarkably well at the box office. On the day of its debut, Thunivu held 1 am showings all over Tamil Nadu.

On January 11, Thunivu appeared on television, much to the surprise of viewers. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the movie was simultaneously released in Telugu under the title Tegimpu.
According to industry insider Ramesh Bala, Thunivu has overtaken Rs 150 crore globally and is dominating the box office. He wrote, “#Thunivu ‘s WW Gross has crossed Rs 150 Crs (sic).”

It was announced on Twitter by Sarigama Cinemas’ official account that the movie has surpassed the $1 million mark in North America. “#Thunivu It’s time to Join our Ajith sir in 1Million Club in NA. North America Comscore Reported gross has now officially crossed the $1M mark !! Thanks to all movie lovers and Ajith sir fans! (sic),” they wrote.

About Thunivu
The movie was written, directed, and produced by Boney Kapoor. Along with Samuthirakani, Pavani Reddy, Manju Warrier, and Ajith Kumar, it also has John Kokken, Mamathi Chari, Veera, and Bagavathi Perumal in supporting roles. The movie, which will be Ajith’s 61st in a main role, was announced in February 2022 with the working title AK61.
The storyline of the film centres around Radha, a notorious gangster. He and his men prepare to rob one of Chennai’s largest banks, but they soon learn that the bank has already been taken over by another gang led by a strange figure known only as the “Dark Devil.”
