New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shilpa Shetty broke her leg while shooting for Rohit Shetty’s upcoming web series Indian Police Force. The actor shared a photo on Instagram while sitting in a wheelchair inside a hospital. In the photos, she was seen smiling as she looked at the camera and wearing a cast.
In the photo, she is showing the victory sign and extended her injured leg forward. She donned a white T-shirt, blue denim jacket and pants. Shilpa captioned the post, “They said, Roll camera action – ‘break a leg!’ I took it literally.”
“Out of action for 6 weeks, but I’ll be back soon stronger and better. Till then, dua mein yaad rakhiyega (Keep me in your prayers). Prayers always work. With gratitude, Shilpa Shetty Kundra,” she added.
Reacting to the post, her sister Shamita Shetty commented, “My munki strongest” and her fans also commented asking the actor to ‘get well soon’.
Earlier, she also shared a BTS on the sets of the Indian Police Force with director Rohit Shetty. The video features Rohit Shetty filming a fighting scene while hanging from a harness. In the caption, the actor wrote, “Never a dull moment on sets of Indian Police Force! Raw and real! Don’t miss Rohit Shetty on the harness.”
