VITEEE 2023: The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) closes registration for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2023 today, March 31, 2023. Candidates can register for the VITEEE 2023 exam on the official website — viteee.vit.ac — From April 17th to 23rd, 2023, the VIT entrance examination for engineering courses will take place.

The exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes. VITEEE exam questions consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Students receive grades for correct answers and 0 points for incorrect answers. There are 40 math/biology questions, 35 physics questions, 35 chemistry questions, 10 aptitude questions, and 5 English questions for a total of 125 questions. 

VITEEE 2023: How to fill out the form?

  • Visit the official website — viteee.vit.ac.in
  • Now, fill out the application form with personal, academic and contact information
  • After filling in all the details carefully, pay the fee using online methods such as banking/credit, debit card/UPI
  • Once these two steps are done, upload the required documents such as a scanned photograph, and signature, among others
  • Submit the application form and save it for future reference

VITEEE 2023: Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must complete Grade 12 in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology, with an overall grade point average of at least 60%. 
  • Applicants belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) or Scheduled Tribes (ST) must have passed a proficiency test in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology with an overall score of at least 50%.
  • Applicant must have been born on or after July 1, 2001, with original high school, SSC, and Class 10 certificates.
  • Applicants from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura, proof of communion or birth at the time of consultation must have Containment taken into account.
  • Applicants must be Resident, Non-Resident Indian (NRI) or PIO or OCI.
  • NRI applicants can apply directly from the “NRI category” on the NRI application form.
