In a startling revelation, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has disclosed details regarding the NEET-UG paper leak originating from Oasis School in Hazaribag, Jharkhand. The school, which served as an exam center on May 25th, saw 701 students take the crucial medical entrance test amidst the unfolding controversy.
Following directives from the Supreme Court, NTA has now released city and exam center-specific results. Out of the 701 examinees at Oasis School, 19 managed to score 600 marks or higher, with the highest scorer achieving an impressive 687.
The scandal took a legal turn when authorities quickly arrested the school principal Ahsanul Haq and vice-principal Mohammad Imtiyaz Alam for their alleged involvement. This development has cast a shadow over an institution once known for its academic integrity.
During the investigation, it was discovered that some students obtained remarkably low scores, with the lowest recorded at a mere 14 marks. Shockingly, a few students even received negative marks, ranging from -10 to -29.
