Havan performed inside Delhi hospital keeping fire safety norms aside, photos get viral

New Delhi: A photo tweeted by a journalist shows a group of priests performing “Havan” inside a Manipal Hospital in Delhi. Breaking fire safety norms and risking the patients’ lives.

The post was shared by Varghese K George, a journalist, and shows a group of four priests performing “Havan” in the lobby of the hospital. Some wheelchairs can be spotted in the picture at the entrance gates.

The caption reads, “God save us. Inside the central air-conditioned ⁦@ManipalHealth ⁩Hospital in Dwarka, accompanying a patient with breathing trouble.”

In reply to the tweet Manipal hospital commented, “Dear Varghese, we want to extend our sincerest apologies concerning all the issues that you have faced. Please DM us your contact details and our team will get back to you as soon as possible. Regards, Manipal Hospitals.”

In reply to their comment, he writes, “Thanks for your kind response. This is nothing specific to me. Right at this moment, you can find dozens of your patients struggling to breathe, and coughing their lungs out at the OPD.”
