Gold Price Today, 16 March 2023: Gold rate has once again touched the sky and for the last four days, there is a continuous rise in the price of gold. Gold has climbed up to cross Rs 58,000 per 10 grams. Whereas silver is at the level of Rs 66500 per kg.
However, even after this, gold is getting cheaper by Rs 700 per 10 grams and silver by more than Rs 13400 per kg. Gold and silver rates of MCX and the international market are tax-free, so there is a difference between the rates of the country’s markets.
Gold and silver on IBJA
According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), today (16 March 2023), gold (Gold Price Today) has jumped at the rate of Rs 136 per ten grams and is trading at the level of Rs 58115 per ten grams. While on the previous trading day, on Wednesday, gold had become costlier by Rs 297 per 10 grams and closed at Rs 57902 per kg.
However, today a slight softening is being seen in Silver Price Update. Today silver is trading at a level of Rs 66500 per kg with a fall of Rs 361. While on the last trading day on Wednesday, silver closed at Rs 66861 per kg with a gain of Rs 980.
Gold and silver rates on MCX
Contrary to the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), gold is trading with a decline on the Commodity Exchange (MCX). Gold on MCX is cheaper by Rs 321 at Rs 58,015, while silver is trading at Rs 66,851, down by Rs 448.
Gold slips by Rs 700; silver by Rs 13400 from all-time high
At present, gold is being sold cheaper than its all-time high by Rs 767 per 10 grams. Earlier, gold made its all-time high on February 2, 2023. At that time gold had gone up to the level of Rs 58882 per ten grams. On the other hand, silver is getting cheaper than its highest level at the rate of Rs 13480 per kg. The all-time high level of silver is Rs 79980 per kg.

14 to 24 Carat Gold Price
Thus, on Thursday, 24 carat gold became costlier by Rs 58115 per 10 grams, 23 carat gold at Rs 57882 per 10 grams, 22 carat gold at Rs 53233 per 10 grams, 18 carat gold at Rs 43586 per 10 grams and 14 carat gold at approx. Is trading at the level of Rs 33997 per 10 grams.
Gold and silver in international market
Unlike the Indian bullion market, today gold is trading with a decline in the international market. In the US market, gold was trading down by $5.04 at $1,916.63 an ounce and silver was trading down $0.10 at $21.72 an ounce.
