This car was Ratan Tata’s dream car, due to which he could fulfill the dream of millions of people who might never be able to buy a car more expensive than this. Tata Nano was launched on 10 January 2008, priced at Rs 1 lakh, ex-showroom. This car was based on BS3 standard, in which a 624cc engine was given, which generated power of 38ps. The car went on sale till 2019 with several updates, but was later discontinued due to emission norms and safety features.
