The much-anticipated and one of the most talked about motorcycles – the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 – is set to be launched soon in the Indian market. Ahead of its launch, the motorcycle has been revealed by leaked images, giving us a clear look at how it looks. Going by the spy shots, the Pulsar NS400 gets an aggressive design. Here is what we know so far about the upcoming motorcycle.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400: Design And Features

At the front, the headlight cluster has a single LED projector headlight housed between LED DRLs, which have the shape of a bolt of lightning. They pique our curiosity about how would they appear when illuminated. What gives the new Bajaj Pulsar NS400 an aggressive face is the neat headlight cowl.

The instrument cluster positioned above the headlight could come as an all-digital display, just like the one found on the updated Bajaj Pulsar range so far. The upcoming motorcycle is expected to feature Bluetooth connectivity, incoming call and SMS alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation. The latest spy images also reveal the LED turn indicators and the sturdy USD fork in a gold colour finish as found on the 2024 Pulsar N250.

Talking about the side profile, the fuel tank looks like that found on the Pulsar NS200 with seamless extensions. These look better as compared to the ones seen on the NS200 and are larger too. Furthermore, the radiator shroud bearing carbon fiber style sticker could be seen right below the tank extensions. A recent teaser confirmed the same. One can also notice a small fairing.

The red coloured motorcycle seen in the leaked images has side panels with a black finish, which provides a visual contrast. The rear part of the motorcycle looks somewhat similar to that of the NS200. In terms of overall appearance, the Pulsar NS400 looks sporty, aggressive, appealing and muscular.

The perimeter frame, suspended by a USD fork and preload-adjustable mono-shock, is likely to be identical to the one on which the NS200 is based. A single front and rear disc will perform the braking duties, while the dual-channel ABS will come as standard. ABS modes found on the Pulsar N250 are also expected.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400: Engine Specs (Expected)

While engine details remain a mystery, reports suggest that the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 could borrow a 399cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine from the new KTM 390 Duke, which generates more than 40bhp. Another likelihood is that it could pack the 373cc engine used by the Bajaj Dominar 400.

Launch Date and Price

The ‘largest’ Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will be launched on May 3, 2024 and is expected to be priced under Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom).

More details about the Pulsar NS400 will be out and confirmed once Bajaj officially launches the motorcycle next month.
