Year-end brings massive discounts on electric cars, with Mahindra offering a whopping Rs 4.2 lakh off on the EL Trim of its XUV400 EV. Meanwhile, Hyundai slashes Rs 3 lakh on its Kona EV. MG Zs EV and MG Comet EV follow with discounts of up to Rs 1 lakh and Rs 65,000 respectively. Tata Tiago EV and Hyundai Ioniq5, however, don’t come with any year-end discounts.
Mahindra XUV400 EV
Mahindra XUV400 EV, a robust SUV, comes with two battery options – 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh. Priced at Rs 15.99 lakh onwards (ex-showroom), it boasts ten color variants and a capacious 378-liter boot space. With a maximum range of 456 km on a full charge, it’s a five-seater marvel. The top model stands at Rs 19.39 lakh (ex-showroom), reaching an 80% charge in 50 minutes with a 50 kW DC fast charger or fully charging in 6.5 hours with a 7.2 kW AC charger.

Hyundai Kona
Hyundai Kona, a smart and efficient ride, covers up to 452 km when fully charged. Available in five color choices, this five-seater marvel sports a 39.2 kWh battery generating 136 PS power and 395 Nm torque. Priced at Rs 23.84 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model, it charges 80% in 57 minutes with a 50 kW DC fast charger. The MG Comet EV, starting at Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom), features essential safety components like ABS, airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchorage, and a reverse parking camera.
