Basildon: Virginia McCullough, aged 35, is facing charges in connection with the murder of her parents, John and Lois McCullough, who were both in their 70s, dating back as far as five years ago.

Authorities revealed that the remains of the alleged victims were discovered at the family’s residence, which they shared with their daughter. Subsequently, she appeared in Basildon Crown Court. While the exact time of the elderly couple’s demise remains uncertain, the alleged murders are believed to have occurred as early as August 21, 2018.

Following this, formal charges against the accused were filed on Sunday.

Neighbours shared that Mr McCullough, who, if alive today, would be 74 years old. He was a former lecturer at Chelmsford College of Further Education. He and his wife, Lois, who would have been 75, are believed to have had four daughters, with Virginia being the youngest.
