New Delhi: An accident can happen anytime and anywhere. Now a new video showing the accident has surfaced on social media. It shows a woman who appears to be learning how to ride a scooter, bumping into an attendant at a gas station.
The scooter also pushes another two-wheeler, causing the rider to lose her balance and fall. The entire episode was captured on the petrol pump’s CCTV.
The CCTV footage of the incident showed that the male driver handed over the scooter to the girl just before she lost control and suddenly rammed the scooter into the attendant and other women present at the gas station. The video was posted on Reddit by u/frosted_bite with the caption: “How do people like that end up with a license.”
Soon after falling off the scooter, the woman is seen getting up and talking to her companion as if nothing had happened. The video was posted 6 hours ago and the post has received 202 comments and 9,800 upvotes.
On the forum, many users accused the man of not turning off the bike before handing it over to the student. “Fault on the father’s part for not turning off the bike before handing it over to his daughter.” Another user wrote: “But she wasn’t driving, she’s just a little girl. The stupid parent got off and handed it to her to take forward.” A third comment read: “I bet it’s a kid. He can’t have DL.”
A few months ago, another accident was caught on video. It shows that the woman and her passenger fell off their scooter in the middle of the road themselves, but blame the accident on the biker behind them. The entire episode was recorded on a body camera.
