New Delhi: Liz Truss become Britain’s Prime Minister on Monday defeating her rival Rishi Sunak. Since the announcement, many world leaders congratulated Truss for achieving this feat. However, to much surprise, many of world leaders tagged a wrong person with username Liz Trussell despite of Liz Truss and her hilarious responses are worth a read.

Many people mistakenly tagged a woman on Twitter with the user name ‘@Liztruss’ and congratulated her for becoming the Britain PM.

The whole incident was brought to notice after a user named ‘Thor Benson’ posted screenshot of Trusells’s responses to the congratulatory messages from leaders.

Benson shared the screenshot captioning: “People keep tagging a random person instead of the incoming British prime minister and she’s rolling with it lol.”

In one of the screenshot, Trussell responded, “Looking forward to a visit soon. Get the meatballs ready!”. She said this while reply to the congratulatory message from Swedish Prime Minister.

Since uploaded the screenshots have gone viral, “This is why I sometimes wonder if it was such a good idea to have such a unique username,” one user wrote. “Cutest thing you will see on the Internet today,” commented another Twitter user.

Another stated, “The best part is her account was inactive for years until now.” A third person commented, “This is why the internet should exist.”

The Tweet by now has around 68K likes and over 7K re-tweets.

Queen Elizabeth II on Tuesday appointed the Conseravative Party Liz Truss as the new Prime Minister of Britain.
