In a tragic incident, a 12-year-old class 8th student of Geetanjali school had suffered a severe heart attack and fell on the floor following which she was immediately taken to the hospital in Surat, Gujarat.
The vigilant teachers and school staff wasted no time and rushed Riddhi to a nearby hospital in a desperate bid to save her life. However, the doctors at the hospital, after thorough examination, declared her unfortunate passing.

The distressing incident was captured by a CCTV camera within the classroom, and the video has since gone viral on social media. The incident occurred in the Godadara area of Surat district and involved a young student named Riddhi Mewada.
As seen in the viral video, Riddhi was seated on the front bench of her class while her teacher conducted a lesson. Suddenly, Riddhi collapsed from her bench, causing immediate commotion in the classroom.

This tragic occurrence has raised concerns about the deaths of young children due to heart attacks. The incident has left Riddhi’s family devastated by the loss of their innocent daughter, and her classmates, as well as the class teacher, are profoundly affected by the shocking event.

Riddhi’s father, Mukesh Mewada, is a textile businessman, and their family resides in Saibaba Society, located in the Godadara area of Surat.
This unfortunate incident marks the seventh instance of a young person’s death in the state due to heart-related issues. Recently, on September 25, a 19-year-old engineering student suffered a fatal heart attack while participating in Garba dance practice in Jamnagar. Likewise, on September 24, a 24-year-old Garba enthusiast tragically lost his life in a similar manner in Junagadh.
