Varun Dhawan delighted everyone on Sunday by announcing that his wife Natasha Dalal is expecting their first child. The couple, who got married on January 24, 2021, are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their baby.
The monochrome photo shows Natasha and Varun at home in Mumbai, with their pet dog Joey. Varun plants a kiss on Natasha’s baby bump as she affectionately cradles her belly. Varun shared the photo with the caption, “We are pregnant. Need all your blessings and love #myfamilymystrength.” The announcement has sparked a flood of congratulatory messages from fans, friends, and loved ones on social media. Karan Johar expressed his joy, saying, “Love you both!!!!!!! So so happy for you and the family!!!! Welcome to the best feeling in the world.” Bhumi Pednekar also congratulated the couple and wrote, “Congratulations,” while Arjun Kapoor added, “Daddy & Mommy number 1.”

Varun Dhawan, the son of David Dhawan, and brother of Rohit Dhawan, is married to Natasha, a Mumbai-based fashion designer who runs her own label. Their love story spans back to their school days. Natasha once shared with Hello! India before their wedding, “Varun and I were in school together. We stayed friends until we were in our mid-20s and then, I remember, we started dating just before I moved away. It was around then that, I think, we realized we were more than just good friends.”
Varun Dhawan recently appeared in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Bawaal,’ co-starring Janhvi Kapoor, and ‘Bhediya.’ Additionally, he featured in a special song titled ‘Heart Throb’ for ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.’ Upcoming projects include “Baby John,” for which a teaser has been recently unveiled.
Furthermore, he is set to star in the Indian segment of the Russo Brothers’ web series, ‘Citadel,’ alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Reports suggest that Varun also has ‘Dulhania 3’ lined up in his future projects.
