Google has launched the Pixel 8 series, featuring the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro models. With the release of these new smartphones, the company has significantly reduced the prices of its older models, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. This presents an excellent opportunity for those looking to purchase a new smartphone.
The Pixel 7 was originally priced at Rs 59,999, while the Pixel 7 Pro was priced at Rs 84,999 when they were introduced last year. However, Google has now reduced the price of the Pixel 7 by Rs 23,500 and the Pixel 7 Pro by Rs 26,000. As a result, the Pixel 7 is now available at Rs 36,499, and the Pixel 7 Pro is priced at Rs 58,999.
These discounted prices will be available during the upcoming Flipkart Big Billion Days sale, scheduled to run from October 8 to October 15. Additionally, customers can take advantage of bank offers during the sale, further reducing the cost of the phones. ICICI Bank Credit Card holders can enjoy a 10% discount, while Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card holders will receive a 5% discount.
Both the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are equipped with the Google Tensor G2 processor and run on the Android 13 operating system. They also feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The Pixel 7 boasts a 6.32-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, while the Pixel 7 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch curved display offering a resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. The displays on both smartphones are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
In terms of camera capabilities, both devices feature a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 12MP 114° ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. For selfies and video calls, both phones are equipped with a 10.8MP front camera featuring an f/2.2 aperture.
